Bhooma Niketan Temple is a prominent spiritual complex and ashram established by Swami Bhoomanand Giri Maharaj along the Sapt Sarovar Marg in Haridwar. Known for its serene setting near the sacred seven streams of River Ganga, the ashram is dedicated to Vedic learning and devotional worship in Uttarakhand.
The temple houses exquisite life sized marble statues of major Hindu deities, including Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Vishnu, and Radha Krishna. A striking feature of the complex is the grand depiction of Lord Shiva standing tall amidst landscaped fountains and manicured lawns.
Besides daily temple rituals and rhythmic morning and evening aartis, Bhooma Niketan is a charitable spiritual center providing affordable guest rooms, free community kitchens (annakshetra), and Ayurvedic healthcare for traveling pilgrims.
Pilgrims often stay in the clean dharamshala rooms to meditate in tranquil riverbank surroundings away from downtown traffic. Daily evening prayers and kirtans bring an atmosphere of peace and devotion.
