Triveni Ghat is the biggest and most revered riverfront ghat in Rishikesh. Situated at the mythical subterranean confluence of three sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, this vibrant spiritual promenade is the beating heart of devotional life in Uttarakhand.

Taking a holy dip in the crystal waters at Triveni Ghat is believed to cleanse devotees of all earthly sins and bestow inner spiritual liberation. In the Ramayana, Lord Rama and his brothers are said to have taken sacred baths here after defeating Ravana.
Every evening at dusk, the famous Maha Aarti (Ganga Aarti) is conducted by the Ganga Seva Samiti. Surrounded by rhythmic drumming, blowing conches, and Vedic chants, towering multi tiered brass oil lamps illuminate the riverbank as thousands of floating leaf lamps float along the glowing river.
Arrive by 5:30 PM to secure prime viewing steps along the central bathing platforms. Pilgrims can feed fresh dough balls to the sacred Mahseer fish swimming near the ghat steps.
Morning Bathing: 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Evening Maha Aarti: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Sunset dependent)
Entry Fee: Free entry for all
