Tera Manzil Temple, officially known as Trimbakeshwar Temple or Kailash Niketan Temple, is a towering 13 storey multi tiered religious shrine situated on the eastern banks of the Ganga overlooking Lakshman Jhula in Rishikesh. Founded in the 12th century by Adi Shankaracharya, this pyramid shaped orange monument is one of the most recognizable architectural landmarks in Uttarakhand.
Unlike standard temples dedicated to a single deity, each of the thirteen ascending floors inside Tera Manzil enshrines dozens of distinct shrines and stone idols representing various forms of Hindu gods, goddesses, and Vedic deities.
As pilgrims ascend the winding interior staircases, they can offer prayers at shrines of Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Durga, Kali, Radha Krishna, and the twelve Jyotirlingas. Reaching the thirteenth top floor rewards visitors with panoramic 360 degree views across the turquoise river rapids and forested Shivalik hills.
The outer corridors of each level feature handicraft and spiritual souvenir stalls. Sunset from the upper balconies offers spectacular photography perspectives of Lakshman Jhula.

Tera Manzil Temple is located directly at the foot of Lakshman Jhula in Tapovan / Jonk village, about 4 kilometers from Rishikesh town center.
