Raghunath Temple is an ancient religious shrine dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita situated adjacent to Triveni Ghat in the old city quarter of Rishikesh. Built in traditional North Indian temple architecture, this revered temple holds deep mythical resonance in Uttarakhand.

Directly in front of the temple lies the sacred water pond known as Rishikund (Pond of the Sage). According to local tradition, this reservoir was built by saint Kubz and blessed by Goddess Yamuna, who filled it with her celestial waters to facilitate the sage daily morning bath.
The sanctum enshrines beautifully adorned black stone idols of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lord Lakshmana. The calm waters of Rishikund reflect the temple spires, creating a serene sanctuary right beside the lively local bazaar.
Pilgrims often combine a holy dip at Triveni Ghat with darshan at Raghunath Temple. Evening aarti is accompanied by classical devotional kirtans.
Visiting Hours: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM & 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM daily
Entry Fee: Free entry for all devotees
