Lachhiwala, officially developed and renamed as the Lachhiwala Nature Park, is a serene forested eco tourism retreat situated along the banks of the Song River in Doiwala near Dehradun. Spanning across lush Sal jungle canopies in Uttarakhand, this nature reserve is celebrated for its man made stream pools and rich biodiversity.
The park channels crystal mountain water from the Song River into a succession of shallow, gently stepped swimming pools. Shaded beneath towering Sal and Teak trees, these refreshing water basins provide a safe and delightful outdoor swimming experience for kids and families.
Besides water pools, the upgraded nature park features a musical laser fountain, a butterfly park, a mini zoo aviary, hanging suspension walkways, and dedicated birdwatching nature trails where over 100 species of Himalayan and migratory birds can be spotted.
Paved jogging tracks, children play areas, and eco friendly food kiosks operate inside the park. Changing rooms and clean shower amenities are available near the pool zone.
