The Buddha Temple, officially known as Mindrolling Monastery (Og Min Ogyen Mindrolling), is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist religious institutions in India, located in Clement Town near Dehradun. Founded in 1965 by Khochhen Rinpoche and His Holiness the 11th Mindrolling Trichen, this monastery is the primary seat of the Nyingma lineage in Uttarakhand.

The centerpiece of the monastery complex is the monumental Great Stupa, rising to an imposing height of 185 feet (60 meters). Inside the five tiered stupa are elaborate shrine rooms decorated with intricate Tibetan thangka murals painted using pure gold dust and natural mineral pigments depicting the life of Gautama Buddha.
The complex also features an awe inspiring 103 foot tall golden statue of Lord Buddha dedicated to World Peace, surrounded by manicured Japanese Zen gardens, rows of brass prayer wheels, and the Ngagyur Nyingma College advanced Buddhist university.
Visitors can browse authentic Tibetan handicraft shops, bookstores, and herbal tea cafes in the adjoining market. Sunday afternoons offer access to the upper shrine rooms of the Great Stupa.
