Corbett Water Fall

Corbett Waterfall is a natural 66 foot high perennial waterfall located near Nayagaon village, roughly 25 kilometers from Ramnagar along the Kaladhungi Nainital highway. Cascading smoothly over vertical rock cliffs into a calm, shallow turquoise pool, it offers a refreshing oasis amidst dense jungle terrain.

The waterfall is surrounded by untouched forests of towering teak, sal, and bamboo groves maintained by the state forest department. The site is a favorite recreational stop for travelers moving between Corbett National Park and Nainital.

Teak Forest Walking Trails and Birdwatching

From the main highway parking area, an easy and scenic 1.5 kilometer walking path meanders through aromatic teak and eucalyptus woods to reach the base of the cascade. The forest trail is equipped with wooden bridges and information boards highlighting local flora.

The gentle roar of cascading waters combines with melodies of forest birds, including kingfishers, flycatchers, hornbills, and barbets. Open grassy clearings around the stream bank make it an ideal setting for family day picnics, photography, and wading in the shallow pools.
