Bijrani is one of the most celebrated and productive wildlife safari zones located in Jim Corbett National Park. Known for its rich predator prey density, Bijrani offers visitors some of the highest probabilities of sighting the Royal Bengal tiger in northern India.
The terrain is characterized by a dynamic blend of deep sal forests, riverine grasslands (chaurs), dry seasonal stream beds (sots), and rocky hill slopes. Natural waterholes and streams flowing through the zone attract abundant wildlife throughout the day.
Safaris in Bijrani frequently encounter wild Asian elephants grazing across vast grasslands, alongside spotted deer, sambar deer, barking deer, wild boars, and sloth bears. Birdwatchers can spot over 300 avian species, including crested serpent eagles, hornbills, and kingfishers.
