Tip N Top Point

Tip N Top Point (also popularly known as Tiffin Top) is the highest hilltop viewpoint in the serene cantonment town of Lansdowne, perched at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters (5,577 feet) in Uttarakhand. Situated roughly 1.5 kilometers uphill from Gandhi Chowk, this ridge viewpoint provides unobstructed 360 degree panoramas of the snow clad Garhwal Himalayan peaks and deep forested Shivalik valleys.

Encircled by towering blue pine, oak, and deodar woods, the viewpoint is equipped with secure iron railings, stone benches, and a rustic wooden gazebo where visitors gather to photograph majestic sunrises and glowing crimson sunsets. On clear days, prominent peaks including Chaukhamba, Trishul, and Nanda Devi are visible along the horizon. Adjacent to the viewpoint are charming wooden log huts and tourist rest houses operated by the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN).

Truth is, watching the sun dip behind distant purple Himalayan ridges while evening breeze rustles through giant pine canopies is pure magic. It stands as the quintessential sightseeing highlight in Uttarakhand's Lansdowne hills.
