The Regimental Museum (officially named the Darwan Singh Sangrahalaya) is a world class military heritage museum established in 1983 in honor of Victoria Cross hero Naik Darwan Singh Negi, situated in the heart of Lansdowne cantonment in Uttarakhand. Perched amidst manicured rose gardens near the Parade Ground, this two story stone museum chronicles the glorious 135 plus year martial history and valor of the famed Garhwal Rifles regiment.
Inside, visitors can view rare collections of pre independence weapons, captured enemy battle flags, vintage machine guns, antique uniforms, and Victoria Cross gallantry citations from World War I and II. The upper galleries showcase modern battlefield achievements, including the Kargil War and counter terrorism operations, alongside personalized letters from Field Marshals and international dignitaries. The outdoor courtyard displays captured Pakistani artillery guns and military tanks flanked by colorful flowering flowerbeds.

The museum is officially named the Darwan Singh Sangrahalaya, honoring Naik Darwan Singh Negi, the first Indian soldier to be awarded the Victoria Cross in 1914.
The museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM (closed Wednesday afternoons). Entry fee is approximately Rs. 50 per person.
Exhibits include antique weapons, captured Pakistani guns, Victoria Cross medals, vintage uniforms, Kargil War memorabilia, and colonial battle flags.
Photography and videography are strictly prohibited inside the indoor galleries for security reasons, though photography in the outdoor gardens and tank park is allowed.
The museum is located right in central Lansdowne, just 500 meters from Gandhi Chowk near the iconic Garhwal Rifles War Memorial.
