Chandika Devi Temple

Chandika Devi Temple is a revered historic shrine dedicated to Goddess Chandika (a fierce, protective manifestation of Goddess Durga and Kali), located in the scenic town of Gopeshwar in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Resting at an elevation of roughly 1,450 meters amidst oak and pine hillsides, this ancient temple is revered as one of the eight prominent Siddhapeeths guarding the holy Garhwal Himalayas.
