Maa Sharvari Temple is a sacred centuries old Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Sharvari, the revered ancestral Kuldevi (tutelary deity) of the royal Kullu kings, situated in Shaminallah village 5 km from Manali. Perched above the roaring Beas River in Himachal Pradesh, it is a prominent Shakti pilgrimage site.
Regarded as an incarnation of Goddess Durga, Maa Sharvari holds a foundational role in regional traditions. During the world famous annual Kullu Dussehra festival at Dhalpur Maidan, her divine silver idol is carried down in an ornate palanquin (rath) to pay primary respects to Lord Raghunath Ji.
