Day 01: New Delhi – Shimla

Arrive Delhi airport / railway station and drive to Shimla (350Kms./ 08Hrs.) the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Enroute visit Pinjore Gardens or Ropeway at Timber Trail, Parwanoo. Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free to stroll on The Mall and the famous Ridge. Ridge is famous for its stunning vistas of the valley and the Christ Church which is the most photographed landmark of Shimla. Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 2: Shimla

After Breakfast Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, after sightseeing of various places in and around. Day 3: Shimla to Manali

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Manali, ariive Manali afternoon , check in hotel and rest Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 4: Manali

After breakfast sightseeing of places in and around Manali, Like Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht Bath, Van Vihar and evening shopping at the local market. Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 5: Manali

Excursion to Rohtang Pass. Situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 Kms. outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass- the gateway to Lahaul -Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. At the top of the pass the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herringboned ridges into the Lahaul valley. Evening at Leisure. Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh (320Kms.)

Checkout from the hotel drives to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. The city was named after the mother goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandu is a feature of the new city. Evening free for shopping and own activities. Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 07: Chandigarh to Delhi (5- 6Hrs.)

After breakfast drive from Chandigarh to Delhi and on arrival check in to your pre booked hotel. Then after Refreshment visit Akashardham Temple/ or rest in hotel. Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 08: Delhi

After breakfast proceed to cover the rest of the City Attractions of New Delhi i.e. Parliamant House, Lotus Temple, Humayun’s Tomb, Quotab Minar and India Gate. Later evening go back to Airport/ railway Station to board your flight/ train.

By Air:

The nearest local airport is Shimla Airport at Jubbarhatti (Airport Code: SLV), situated 22 km west of the town center (around 45 minutes drive). Scheduled regional flights connect Jubbarhatti to New Delhi (IGI) and Chandigarh. For major domestic and international connectivity, Chandigarh International Airport (Airport Code: IXC) is located 120 km away (approximately 3.5 hours drive via the multi-lane Himalayan Expressway NH-5).

By Train:

Kalka Railway Station (Station Code: KLK) is the broad-gauge terminal railhead serving Shimla, located 88 km away (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours drive). Prominent trains connecting Kalka include:

• New Delhi – Kalka Shatabdi Express (Train 12011/12005): Superfast morning and evening express from New Delhi (NDLS) arriving at Kalka in 4 hours.
• Himalayan Queen & Netaji Express: Daily direct express trains connecting Delhi, Old Delhi (DLI), and Howrah to Kalka.

By Road:

• From Chandigarh (~110 km / 3 to 3.5 hours): A scenic four-lane uphill drive along NH-5.

1. The Ridge & Historic Christ Church (1857 Neo-Gothic Landmark)

The cultural heartbeat of Shimla, The Ridge is a wide open paved esplanade running along the town's central crest. 2. Viceregal Lodge & Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS)

Perched atop Observatory Hill (2 km west of town), the Viceregal Lodge (also known as Rashtrapati Niwas) is a breathtaking Scottish baronial castle completed in 1888 for Viceroy Lord Dufferin. Built of English grey sandstone and teakwood, it served as the seat of the British Government in India every summer. Inside its grand teak-panelled halls, pivotal political negotiations (including the 1945 Shimla Conference and the Partition discussions) unfolded. Today, it houses the prestigious IIAS research institute surrounded by manicured botanical gardens.

3. Jakhoo Hill & Ancient Hanuman Temple (108-Foot Statue at 2,455 m)

Rising to 2,455 meters (8,050 feet), Jakhoo Hill is the highest geographic point in Shimla. An ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman sits amid dense deodar forests where, according to the Ramayana, Hanuman paused to rest while searching for the Sanjeevani herb. The hilltop is marked by a monumental 108-foot-tall red-orange statue of Lord Hanuman, visible from almost everywhere in Shimla. Visitors can reach the summit via a scenic 2 km forest walk or the modern Jakhoo Ropeway aerial cable car from The Ridge.

4. UNESCO World Heritage Kalka–Shimla Toy Train Experience

Inaugurated in 1903 by Viceroy Lord Curzon, the Kalka-Shimla Railway is an internationally acclaimed engineering marvel recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Operating on a narrow 2-foot-6-inch gauge, the charming red-and-cream toy train chugs along a 96 km mountain alignment, passing through 102 stone tunnels (including the famous 1.1 km Barog Tunnel), 864 arched viaduct bridges, and fragrant pine hills at a leisurely 25 km/h.

5. Kufri Snow Slopes & Himalayan Adventure Park (16 km)

Situated at a high elevation of 2,720 meters (16 km east of Shimla along NH-5), Kufri is an internationally renowned winter sports hotspot. During winter (December to February), the slopes around Mahasu Peak and Fagu turn into powdery ski fields for skiing, tobogganing, and horse riding. The Himalayan Nature Park at Kufri houses rare high-altitude wildlife including the Himalayan monal, snow leopards, and musk deer.

6. Mall Road & Historic Scandal Point Promenade

The bustling central avenue of Shimla, Mall Road is a pedestrian-only paradise lined with colonial buildings, heritage cafes, bookstores, and state emporiums. At the western intersection with The Ridge lies Scandal Point, named after a romantic legend involving the Maharaja of Patiala, offering romantic evening valley vistas and social meeting points.

7. Tara Devi Ancient Hilltop Temple (Shivalik & Doon Vista)

Perched atop Tara Parvat at an altitude of 1,851 meters (11 km from town center), Tara Devi Temple is a 250-year-old wooden-carved shrine dedicated to the goddess of stars (Goddess Durga). Encircled by dense oak and pine woods, it commands a peaceful 360-degree panoramic view of the Shimla hills and the distant Doon valley.

8. Annandale Meadow & Army Heritage War Museum

Located in a deep deodar-filled valley 3 km below the Ridge, Annandale is a historic green plateau that hosted polo matches, cricket, and gymkhanas during the British era. Today, it serves as a military precinct housing the Army Heritage Museum displaying historic weapons, uniforms, and war memorabilia.

9. Mashobra, Craignano & Naldehra 18-Hole Golf Links (22 km)

A short drive northeast of Shimla leads to the apple-scented pine hamlets of Mashobra and Craignano Nature Park. Continuing forward brings you to Naldehra (2,044 m), home to India's oldest 9/18-hole golf course laid out by Lord Curzon over a rolling natural ridge shaded by giant cedar trees.
