Kandoliya Temple

Kandoliya Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Kandoliya Devta (Lord Shiva's protector form regarded as the guardian deity of Pauri), perched amidst dense pine and oak woods on Kandoliya Hill in Pauri, Uttarakhand. Perched at an altitude of approximately 1,850 meters (6,070 feet), roughly 2 kilometers from the town center, this spiritual hilltop complex commands sweeping views of Pauri town and the rolling valleys of Garhwal.

The temple complex includes a beautifully developed pine eco park with paved stone walking pathways, children's swings, slides, and rustic wooden benches where families and nature lovers spend peaceful afternoons. Right adjacent to the temple lies the Ransi Stadium (Kandoliya Ground), recognized as one of the highest altitude sports stadiums in Asia.
