Ardhanarishwar Temple is a revered stone sanctuary situated within the sacred Vishwanath temple complex in Guptkashi, resting at an elevation of 1,319 meters (4,327 feet) in Uttarakhand. The temple is consecrated to Lord Shiva in his composite Ardhanarishvara form, depicting the divine union of masculine and feminine cosmic energies where half of the deity represents Shiva and the other half embodies Goddess Parvati.

Constructed in traditional North Indian Nagara stone style, the temple features intricate exterior carvings and a peaceful paved courtyard. Pilgrims traveling to Guptkashi on the Kedarnath Yatra visit Ardhanarishwar Temple to seek blessings for marital balance, harmony, and spiritual completeness. The courtyard also houses the famous Manikarnika Kund, where two natural mountain streams representing the Ganga and Yamuna continuously pour into a stone tank.
Ardhanarishwar Temple is located in central Guptkashi along NH 107 in Rudraprayag district.
The best time to visit Ardhanarishwar Temple is from April to June and September to November for clear mountain weather.
