The 1922 Royal Ipecac Heritage & Orchid Glasshouses

Originally planted with Cephaelis ipecacuanha, a South American medicinal shrub whose roots were processed into life saving dysentery medicine, the garden earned its lasting nickname 'Ipecac Garden'.

Today, its temperature controlled glass greenhouses nurture over 100 varieties of rare indigenous orchids, miniature bonsai trees, carnivorous pitcher plants, and colorful hybrid anthuriums.

Truth is, relaxing on the lush green riverbank lawn while listening to the rushing mountain river and admiring blooming purple orchids will melt away all travel fatigue.
