Amaramkavu

Amaramkavu (celebrated as the ancient Amaramkavu Vanadurga Bhagavathy Temple and pristine ecological sacred grove), situated amidst dense tropical rainforest foothills in Vannappuram just 17 km northeast of Thodupuzha in Kerala, is one of Central Kerala's largest, most ecologically diverse, and spiritually mystifying sacred groves.

Kalam Ezhuthu Rites: Devotees witness the drawing of multi colored goddess figures using herbal powders, accompanied by rhythmic drumming on the traditional Maram and ancient folk songs.
