Silent Valley National Park

Silent Valley National Park (celebrated globally as a pristine UNESCO World Heritage Site and the core ecological heart of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve), sprawling across 237.52 square kilometers of untouched tropical evergreen rainforest in the Kundali hills just 60 km northwest of Palakkad town and 20 km from Mannarkkad in Kerala, is one of Earth's oldest, most biodiverse, and ecologically intact primeval rainforest sanctuaries.
