Mahatma Gandhi Beach and Park (celebrated across Kerala as Kollam Beach and the state's first internationally designed public beach park), fronting the surging blue waves of the Arabian Sea in Kochupilamoodu just 2 km south of Kollam city center in Kerala, is one of South India's most popular, expansive, and lively urban coastal recreation seafronts.
