Chandragiri Fort

Flanked by nature on all sides and immersed in a glorious past, the Chandragiri Fort is one of the several forts established by Sivappa Naik of Bedanore during 17th century. Apart from reflecting the footprints of past, this fort also offers an enchanting view of the Arabian Sea and the river while the sunset view here is simply spell binding. Located in the south east of Kasargod in Chandragiri town, the tourism department has also started a boat trip to the islands in the vicinity as well as the palm groves. The Chandragiri Bridge, a mosque and an ancient temple are also located in the town.
