Holy Redeemer Church

Holy Redeemer Church (the landmark 1848 Roman Catholic sanctuary, Gothic revival historic landmark, and premier colonial heritage church of Ambala Cantonment) in Ambala in Haryana, is one of northwest India's oldest and most historic Christian houses of worship.

Constructed during the East India Company era when British military regiments were relocated from Karnal to Ambala following a severe epidemic, this historic church was designed to minister to European soldiers and local civilian families.
