Jageshwar, is a small town in Uttarakhand is like a town carved exquisitely for temples. The biggest temple out of the lot of the 124 temples here, is the one that is the most visited, the Jageshwar Mahadev Temple is situated on the Jataganga Valley. Mostly built in the 9th century, the temples are exceptionally well preserved here. The long and short of Jageshwar then remains, that if you're an archaeological geek, with a thing for exploring the deeply seated mythological beliefs that for the root of the Indian culture, the place will leave you feeling enchanted, with an unquenchable thirst of exploring beyond.
Day 1: Kathgodam - Jageshwar
Pick-up from Kathgodam Railway Station, drive to Jageshwar. check in at hotel & relax, evening free for individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Jageshwar Local Sightseeing
Have your breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Jageshwar Local Sightseens, you can take 3 kms trek one way to reach Bridh Jageshwar. This temple is situated at the top of the hill. Bridh Jageshwar temple situated at picturesque location, Dandeshwar Temple, Mahamrityunjaya Temple, Jageshwar Mahadev Temple, The Archaeological Museum etc. Evening return back to Jageshwar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03: Jageshwar - Kathgodam
After early breakfast, drive back to Kathgodam. On arrive Kathgodam, transfer to Railway Station.
