Pallapatti is a panchayat town in Karur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. t is situated 9km away from sub-district headquarter Aravakurichi and 35km away from district headquarter Karur. Pallapatti cuisine is typical of south Indian cuisine, in that rice and rice-derived dishes form the major portion of a diet (see rice and curry).
