The 108 Foot Shiva Idol & 12 Jyotirlinga Shrines

The centerpiece of Char Dham is the mammoth 108 foot seated statue of Lord Shiva resting atop the main temple structure, visible from several kilometers across the South Sikkim landscape.

Surrounding the central plaza are 12 individual sanctums housing exact replicas of India's 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, allowing pilgrims to offer sacred water and prayers at each holy lingam.

The 4 Sacred Dhams & Kirateshwar Temple

The Four Holy Dhams: Four independent temple structures recreate the unique architecture of Badrinath (Uttarakhand), Jagannath Temple (Odisha), Dwarkadhish Temple (Gujarat), and Ramanathaswamy Temple (Tamil Nadu).

Kirateshwar Statue: The complex features an imposing statue of Lord Shiva as Kirata (the celestial hunter), honoring the ancient Kirati heritage of Sikkim and the legendary Mahabharata duel with Arjuna.
