Lonavala is a beautiful city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Lonavala was ruled by the Yadavs, Mughals and Marathas, among others. The place is remembered for the famous Battle of Vadgaon, in which Mahadaji Shinde fought and defeated the British. Khandala is one of the exotic hill stations situated at a height of about 625 meters in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra. Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

On arriving in Mumbai, meet an IHPL representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to the hotel. Known as the ‘Dream City, Maharashtra’s capital, Mumbai is one of the most sought-after destinations of the country, which is flocked by travelers from all around the world for varied reasons, be it business or leisure. After check-in, you are free to spend the day as per your own liking. You can visit the popular markets, can visit the nearby attractions and more. Stay overnight.

Day 2: Mumbai Sightseeing

On day 2, post-breakfast, get all set to visit the popular attractions of Mumbai. The list of today’s sightseeing might include the Gate of India- erected during the British rule it is now a popular landmark, Prince of Wales Museum- now The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya it houses several interesting ancient artifacts, Hanging Gardens- also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens it is a beautiful terrace garden, Haji Ali Dargah-not only a mosque but a landmark placed on an islet and so on. In the evening, you can visit the famous beaches like Juhu Beach and Chowpatty Beach where you can taste the lip-smacking street food, view the mesmerizing sunset, indulge in fun activities etc. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 3: Mumbai - Khandala - Lonavala

Today, get all set to get transferred to Lonavala, by road. After breakfast, begin driving for Lonavala, via Khandala. While on the way, treat your eyes to the lush greenery spread all around, soak-in the cool breeze. You can take a halt here and click some nice pictures with the loved ones. After reaching Lonavala, check-into your hotel. You are now free to explore the lakes, waterfalls and caves of this hill town. Some of attractions include Bhaja Caves-Buddhist caves etched during 2nd century, Karla Caves-India largest cave temples and Koregad fort-ideal for trekking expedition. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Lonavala - Mahabaleshwer

On the 4th day, begin driving towards Mahabaleshwer, another mesmerizing hill resort of the state, thronged by tourists from all around. As you reach, complete the check-in formalities. Leave the hotel room for visiting the attractions. Enjoy the amazing weather. Visit popular points like Arthur’s Seat, Babbington Point and Sunset Point to admire some panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Visit Morarji Castle, known for its British architecture. Taste the local renditions and so on. Overnight in Mahabaleshwar.

Day 5: Mahabaleshwer - Alibagh

After breakfast, get all set to get transferred to Alibagh, by road. A popular weekend spot, Alibagh is known for its clean and beautiful beaches. Check-into the hotel, after arrival. Later, partake in sightseeing. Explore the popular forts like Khanderi Fort, Kolaba Fort and Undheri Fort. Kihim beach, Akshi beach are two of the very popular beaches of Alibagh. Stay overnight.

Day 6: Alibagh - Mumbai Airport

Today is the last day of your memorable tour. Post- breakfast, get an assisted transfer to Mumbai airport for boarding the flight for your onward journey.

1. Tiger's Leap & Lion's Point (650m Sheer Cliff Drop & Echo Canyon - 8 km)

A dramatic clifftop viewpoint perched at an elevation of 650 meters, named for its natural rock outline resembling a leaping tiger into the valley below. Renowned for spectacular echo valley soundscapes, swirling monsoon mists, roasted sweet corn stalls, and sunrise views across the Sahyadris.

2. Karla Caves & Ekvira Aai Temple (2nd-Century BC Grand Buddhist Chaitya Hall - 10 km)

An ancient complex of rock cut Buddhist cave shrines carved into the hills around 160 BC. Houses India's largest and most pristine rock cut Buddhist prayer hall (*Great Chaitya*), featuring 37 massive stone pillars adorned with elephant and rider sculptures, an intact teak wood arched roof, and the revered Hindu pilgrimage shrine of Goddess Ekvira Aai.

3. Lohagad Fort & Vinchukata Spur (1,033m Historic Maratha Mountain Fortress - 10 km)

A formidable hilltop fort rising 1,033 meters above sea level, occupied successively by the Chalukyas, Rashtrakutas, Yadavas, Bahmanis, and famously fortified by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 1670 to house the royal treasury. 7. Bhaja Caves & Buddhist Stupa Complex (22 Ancient Hinayana Rock Shrines - 12 km)

A cluster of 22 rock cut caves dating back to the 2nd century BC, featuring ancient Hinayana Buddhist stupas, intricate relief carvings of musicians playing instruments, and a collection of 14 monumental reliquary stupas carved into the cliff.

8. Visapur Fort & Waterfall Trek (Higher Sister Fortress of Lohagad at 1,084m - 11 km)

The larger and higher companion fort to Lohagad, standing at 1,084 meters elevation. Famous for its exhilarating monsoon trek that climbs directly through natural stone waterfall gulleys to reach expansive plateaus with stone water cisterns.

9. Duke's Nose / Nagphani (Cliff-Jumping, Trekking & Rappelling Pinnacle - 7 km)

Named after the Duke of Wellington's distinctive pointed nose profile, this dramatic sheer cliff pinnacle resembles a hooded snake's head (*Nagphani*), offering rock climbing, valley crossing, and rappelling adventures.
