Cheeyappara Waterfalls

Cheeyappara Waterfalls is located between Adimali and Neriamangalam on Munnar to Kochi highway (NH49). Cascading down in 7 steps, Cheeyappara Waterfalls is one of the most magnificent waterfalls in Kerala. This is also a great place for trekking. It is noted for 2 acres of evergreen forests upon a huge rock. The rock is more than 500 acres in area and an ideal spot for mountaineering. A lot of tourists prefer visiting this place on their way back from Munnar as it lies on the main highway and can be spotted very easily between the lush green trees spread everywhere. It is a chain of waterfalls in the Deviyar River that originates from the Western Ghats.
