Mango Meadows Agricultural Theme Park, sprawling across 30 acres of pristine man made biodiverse paradise in the peaceful village of Ayamkudy near Kaduthuruthy just 20 km northeast of Kumarakom in Kerala, stands as the world's first agricultural theme park and one of South India's most extraordinary eco tourism destinations.

The 30 Acre Biodiversity Sanctuary & Global Records

Mango Meadows was envisioned as a living botanical museum to preserve precious indigenous flora that are rapidly disappearing due to modern urbanization.

Today, the 30 acre park contains more than 4,800 varieties of plants, including ancient sacred groves, rare Ayurvedic healing shrubs, 24 varieties of bananas, and exotic trees like the African Baobab and the rare Krishna Fig (Ficus Krishnae).

Truth is, every tree and plant in the park is fitted with an informative QR coded information board, allowing students and travelers to scan and learn its scientific name, origin, and medicinal properties.

Parasurama Statue & The 50 Foot Eeda Watchtower

The Parasurama Monument: Welcoming visitors near the central plaza is the imposing 35 foot statue of Lord Parasurama, depicting the axe wielding warrior sage who according to Hindu legend reclaimed the land of Kerala from the Arabian Sea.

50 Foot Eeda Cottage: Built entirely from natural bamboo, seasoned teak, and clay tiles, this towering multi level observation cottage provides striking 360 degree aerial views over the dense green canopy and adjoining emerald Kuttanad paddy fields.

The 4.5 Acre Boating Lake & Heritage Craft Village

Boating & Fish Feeding: The 4.5 acre natural spring lake is interlaced with 1.5 km of meandering water canals where guests enjoy pedal boating, rowing, and shikara boat rides while hand feeding thousands of native freshwater fishes like Karimeen, Tilapia, and Rohu.

Rural Craft Village: Guests can try their hand at clay pottery on traditional wheels, observe village blacksmiths forging agricultural tools, watch manual coconut oil pressing (Chekku), and taste fresh organic sugarcane juice and farm grown tender coconuts.
