Eco Park Dhanaulti

Eco Park is a pristine ecological forest park comprising two distinct deodar reserves named Amber and Dhara, located right in the heart of Dhanaulti hill station in Uttarakhand. Developed and maintained collaboratively by the Uttarakhand Forest Department and local village youth, this 13 hectare pine park sits at an elevation of 2,286 meters (7,500 feet), offering a peaceful model of sustainable community eco tourism.

Shaded by dense centuries old deodar cedar and oak trees, the twin parks feature cobblestone walkways, rustic wooden gazebos, panoramic viewpoints of snow peaks, and children's adventure play areas. Thrill seekers can enjoy activities such as zip lining, burma bridge crossing, sky walking, and flying fox. The park also runs a unique eco plantation initiative called 'Memory Sapling' (Smriti Van), allowing visitors to plant a native cedar tree in memory of their loved ones.

Truth is, relaxing on wooden benches surrounded by crisp cedar needles while watching morning sunlight filter through gigantic tree canopies is pure therapy. It remains the centerpiece tourist attraction in Uttarakhand's Dhanaulti hills.
