The Tamra Sabha: Cosmic Copper Dance Hall of Lord Nataraja

Among the five sacred dance halls (Pancha Sabhai) of Lord Shiva, the Tamra Sabha at Nellaiappar Temple represents the copper stage where the cosmic dance (Sandhya Tandavam) took place.

The hall features exquisite 16th century wooden roof carvings, intricate copper plating, and dynamic bronze icons of Lord Nataraja and Sivakami Amman.
