The 22 Km Mullodi Trek & Forest Guidelines

The Trek Route: The trek begins at Mullodi homestays (accessible by 4x4 jeep from Balagal junction), covering 11 km each way through dense Shola patches, Ontimara (lone tree), and steep grassy slopes.

Daily Trekker Cap: To preserve the fragile ecology, the Karnataka Forest Department enforces a strict daily limit of 50 registered trekkers with mandatory online advance booking.

Hanuman Gundi Falls & Kalasa Temple Loop

Hanuman Gundi (Suthanabbe) Falls: Located along the main highway, this scenic 100 foot waterfall cascades into a natural forest pool accessible via 300 stone steps.

Kalasa Heritage Circuit: Kudremukh pairs smoothly with the ancient Sri Kalaseshwara Temple in Kalasa (22 km), Horanadu Annapoorneshwari Temple (30 km), and Kyathanamakki (25 km).
