Vidhana Soudha (the monumental 1956 neo Dravidian carved granite legislative palace spanning 60 acres along Ambedkar Veedhi, celebrated as the largest provincial legislature complex in India and famous for its central dome crowned by the four ton Ashoka Lion Capitol) in Bangalore in Karnataka, stands as Karnataka's supreme democratic citadel and architectural civic landmark.
