Bull Temple or Dodda Basavana Gudi (the sacred 1537 Dravidian granite shrine founded by Kempe Gowda I atop Bugle Rock, celebrated for its colossal 15 foot monolithic Nandi bull carved from a single granite boulder and the historic annual Kadalekai Parishe peanut festival) in Bangalore in Karnataka, stands as south Bengaluru's spiritual heart and cultural landmark.
