Manas tours package are your chance to see many such animals. Home to wild water buffaloes and one-horned rhinos, the national park is lined by the fertile Brahmaputra plains in the south and Bhutan Himalayan foothills in the north. You can also spot golden langurs, pigmy hogs, leopard cats, tigers, elephants, sambar, barking and swamp deer, leopards and Himalayan black bears by going on a wildlife safari with us. Most of our Manas packages are available from November to April as this is the best time to see animals here.

The national park is drained by the picturesque Manas River that demarcate India from the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. Being an excellent abode of Tigers, Manas National Park has been the center of attraction for the wild life conservationist. The park is also home to some of the rare wildlife species including one horned rhinos, wild buffaloes, leopards, clouded leopards and the amazing black panthers. Apart from the wild beasts, the place is haven for local and migratory bird- A paradise for watchers. “On a gentle slope in the foothills of the Himalayas, where wooded hills give way to alluvial grasslands and tropical forests, the Manas sanctuary is home to a great variety of wildlife, including many endangered species, such as the Tiger, Pygmy Hog, Indian Rhinoceros and Indian Elephants”…

Day 01: Guwahati - Manas National Park (ASSAM)

Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Manas (178 Kms / 4 Hrs drive) and check in to hotel. Overnight in Manas.

MANAS NATIONAL PARK:

The National Park was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973.Situated in the foothills of Bhutanese Himalaya, it famous for its majestic Tiger and Golden Leaf Monkey discovered only a few decades ago. It is a paradise for bird lovers, birds which can be seen here are the Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds.

Day 02: Manas (ASSAM)

Early morning Elephant ride. After breakfast go for a jeep safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park – Mathanguri. Overnight at Manas.

Day 03: Manas - Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga (380 Kms / 8 hrs drives). Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Note: Elephant ride and jeep safari and forest entry are regulated and controlled by the forest dept. Govt. of Assam. As such we do not have any control for booking of elephant seats and entry by jeeps

Day 04: Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)

Early morning elephant ride. After breakfast enjoy the Park on a Jeep. Evening visit tea garden and local villages. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 05: Kaziranga - Guwahati Airport drop (ASSAM)

After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport (250Kms/ 5Hrs drive approx). Tour Ends Here

Payments policy

• 25% Amount at the time of booking. 100% Amount 15 days or earlier, before travel date. Payment by cheque or online payment facility available. Your booking confirmation number will be provided to you.

Tour Cancilation policy

• Strictly depends upon concerned hotel's cancellation policy
• Minimum Cancilation charges before 10days of Travel Date is 10% of package cost

• Package cost will change if opted for guide service, choice of transport vehicle, hotel type change
• Accommodation charges as mentioned in the package are with 2 persons staying together sharing the same room
• Extra persons in same room charges extra
• Altough we ensure you the best experience but unfortunate delays in travel and inefficient service of hotel is the responsibility of the respective parties.

By Train:

• Furkating Junction (Station Code: FKG - 75 km southeast): Major station connected by Brahmaputra Mail, Kamrup Express, and Jan Shatabdi. Taxi takes 1.5 hours to reach Kohora.
• Guwahati Railway Station (GHY - 195 km west): Major terminal with Vande Bharat Express and Rajdhani connectivity. Pre paid AC cabs take 4 hours via NH-27.

By Air:

• Rowriah Airport (Airport Code: JRH - Jorhat, 90 km east): Nearest operational domestic airport with flights from Kolkata and Delhi (1.5 hours drive).
• Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Airport Code: GAU - Guwahati, 215 km west): Major hub operating daily flights across all Indian metros.

By Road:

• From Guwahati (~195 km / 4 hours): Via 4 lane NH-27 through Dispur, Nagaon, and Jakhalabandha directly to Kohora.
• From Jorhat (~90 km / 1.5 hours): Via NH-27 through Dergaon and Bokakhat.
• From Tezpur (~50 km / 1 hour): Via Kolia Bhomora Setu and NH-27.
• ASTC AC buses and tourist coaches operate frequent services along the national highway stopping directly in front of Kaziranga safari booking counters in Kohora.

1. Kaziranga National Park & The Big Five Safari Ranges (Kohora Central & Bagori Western Ranges)

A prestigious UNESCO World Heritage Site home to two thirds of the world's Great Indian one horned rhinoceroses. The park is divided into four scenic ranges: Central (Kohora) for rhino and wetland bird sightings, Western (Bagori) for highest rhino density, Eastern (Agaratoli) for birdwatching, and Burapahar for rugged hill trails.

2. Dawn Elephant Back Jungle Safari (Close-Range Grassland Rhino & Wildlife Encounters)

An unforgettable early morning safari commencing at 5:00 AM where trained elephants silently navigate through 15 foot tall elephant grass and misty swamp lakes, allowing tourists to approach wild rhinos, calves, and swamp deer within a few meters.

3. Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park (Over 600 Wild Orchid Species & Folk Dance)

The largest orchid park in India spread over 6 acres near Kohora. Houses a climate controlled greenhouse preserving over 600 indigenous wild orchid species of Northeast India, a botanical medicinal plant garden, bamboo museum, and a live Assamese Bihu and Jhumur folk dance arena.

4. Hathikuli Organic Tea Estate & Tea Tasting Trail (Lush Green Plantations on NH-27)

A sprawling 100% certified organic tea plantation bordering the national park. The name Hathikuli translates to a place frequently visited by wild elephants. Visitors take guided factory tours to witness orthodox tea manufacturing and sample premium organic Assam black and green teas.

5. Kakochang Waterfall & Bokakhat Tea Forest Trek (Pristine Forest Cascade - 13 km)

A roaring waterfall hidden amidst the Karbi Anglong hills and rubber plantations near Bokakhat. A scenic 3 km trek through emerald tea gardens and rocky jungle streams leads to this crystal clear natural plunge pool.

6. Agaratoli Eastern Range & Sohola Beel Birdwatching (Pelicans, Storks & Bengal Floricans)

A wetland birdwatcher paradise featuring large water bodies where spot billed pelicans, Pallas's fish eagles, lesser adjutant storks, and rare Bengal floricans feed in thousands during winter.

7. Burapahar Range (Ghorakati) & Hoolock Gibbon Trekking Trail (15 km)

The hilly southwestern gateway to Kaziranga, famed for guided forest walking trails where travelers spot India's only ape species, the western hoolock gibbon, swinging in the high canopy.

8. Deoparbat Archaeological Ruins & Ancient Numaligarh Stone Sculptures (35 km)

An ancient 8th century hilltop archaeological site showcasing stone carved pillars, intricate celestial dancer sculptures, and temples belonging to the ancient Kamarupa kingdom.

9. Brahmaputra River Dolphin Spotting at Bhomoraguri & Silghat (40 km)

A tranquil boat ride on the Brahmaputra River where the Kolong river joins the main channel, offering sightings of endangered freshwater Ganges river dolphins (Xihu).
