The National Park was designated as a Tiger Reserve in 1973.Situated in the foothills of Bhutanese Himalaya, it famous for its majestic Tiger and Golden Leaf Monkey discovered only a few decades ago. It is a paradise for bird lovers, birds which can be seen here are the Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds.

Day 01: Guwahati - Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary (ASSAM)

Arrive Guwahati airport and visit Kamakhya temple later transfer to Pobitora Wild Life Sanctuary (70 Kms/2 Hrs). Check in to Hotel. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 02: Pobitora - Manas National Park (ASSAM)

Morning 01 round of jeep Safari. Later drive to Manas National Park (235 kms / 05 hrs). Reach Manas and check in to hotel. Overnight in Manas.

MANAS NATIONAL PARK:

Day 03: Manas National Park (ASSAM)

After breakfast go for a jeep safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park–Mathanguri. Overnight at Manas.

Day 04: Manas - Nameri National Park (ASSAM)

After breakfast drive to Nameri / Bhalukpong (320 Kms / 7 Hrs drive) and check in Eco Camp / Prashaanti Cottages. Dinner & Overnight.

Nameri National Park:

Covering an area of 200sq.kms, it is situated in the District of Sonitpur; the Nameri is the third National Park of Assam. It is a Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The inaccessibility and continuity with the neibouring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. There is a good prey base in the form of Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar and Gaur. About 3000 domestic cattle also form part of this prey base for Tiger and Leopards.

Day 05: Nameri (ASSAM)

Today early morning at about 05.30 a.m, we set to explore the park on foot (3.2kms), after the trek back to the camp. After having breakfast go for an exclusive rafting (mild rapids) trip on Jia–Bhoreli River, flowing along the National Park, for water birds. Return back to the camp. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 06: Nameri - Kaziranga National Park (ASSAM)

After breakfast check out drive to Kaziranga (120 Kms / 2 ½ hrs drives). Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Kaziranga National Park:

In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.

Day 07: Kaziranga (ASSAM)

After breakfast enjoy the Park on a Jeep. Evening visit tea garden and local villages. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 08: Kaziranga - Guwahati Airport drop (ASSAM)

After breakfast check out and drive to Guwahati airport in time. Tour Ends Here.

By Train:

• Furkating Junction (Station Code: FKG - 75 km southeast): Major station connected by Brahmaputra Mail, Kamrup Express, and Jan Shatabdi. Taxi takes 1.5 hours to reach Kohora.
• Guwahati Railway Station (GHY - 195 km west): Major terminal with Vande Bharat Express and Rajdhani connectivity. Pre paid AC cabs take 4 hours via NH-27.

By Air:

• Rowriah Airport (Airport Code: JRH - Jorhat, 90 km east): Nearest operational domestic airport with flights from Kolkata and Delhi (1.5 hours drive).
• Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Airport Code: GAU - Guwahati, 215 km west): Major hub operating daily flights across all Indian metros.

By Road:

• From Guwahati (~195 km / 4 hours): Via 4 lane NH-27 through Dispur, Nagaon, and Jakhalabandha directly to Kohora.
• From Jorhat (~90 km / 1.5 hours): Via NH-27 through Dergaon and Bokakhat.
• From Tezpur (~50 km / 1 hour): Via Kolia Bhomora Setu and NH-27.
• ASTC AC buses and tourist coaches operate frequent services along the national highway stopping directly in front of Kaziranga safari booking counters in Kohora.

1. Kaziranga National Park & The Big Five Safari Ranges (Kohora Central & Bagori Western Ranges)

A prestigious UNESCO World Heritage Site home to two thirds of the world's Great Indian one horned rhinoceroses. 3. Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park (Over 600 Wild Orchid Species & Folk Dance)

4. Hathikuli Organic Tea Estate & Tea Tasting Trail (Lush Green Plantations on NH-27)

A sprawling 100% certified organic tea plantation bordering the national park. The name Hathikuli translates to a place frequently visited by wild elephants. Visitors take guided factory tours to witness orthodox tea manufacturing and sample premium organic Assam black and green teas.

5. Kakochang Waterfall & Bokakhat Tea Forest Trek (Pristine Forest Cascade - 13 km)

A roaring waterfall hidden amidst the Karbi Anglong hills and rubber plantations near Bokakhat. A scenic 3 km trek through emerald tea gardens and rocky jungle streams leads to this crystal clear natural plunge pool.
