Kaziranga has flat expanses of fertile, alluvial soil formed by erosion and silt deposition by the Brahmaputra. The landscape consists of exposed sandbars, riverine flood-formed lakes known as, beels, (which make up 5% of the surface area), and elevated regions known as, chapories, which provide retreats and shelter for animals during floods. Many artificial chapories have been built with the help of the Indian Army to ensure the safety of the animals. Kaziranga is one of the largest tracts of protected land in the sub-Himalayan belt, and due to the presence of highly diverse and visible species, has been described as a "biodiversity hotspot" The park is located in the Indomalaya ecozone, and the dominant biomes of the region are Brahmaputra Valley semi-evergreen forests of the tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests biome and a frequently flooded variant of the Terai-Duar savanna and grasslands of the tropical and subtropical grassland, savannas and shrublands biome. Package Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati - Kaziranga

Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport/Station and drive to Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5Hrs drive). Check in hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 02: Kaziranga

AM & PM Jeep safari inside the park. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 03: Kaziranga

Early morning go for Elephant ride@ 5AM.Return for Breakfast Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 04: Kaziranga - Guwahati

After Breakfast drive to Guwahati (250 kms/5 hrs drive). Check in at Hotel. Later in the evening enjoy River Cruise over the river Brahmaputra. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 05: Guwahati

After breakfast visit Kamakhya temple, Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, Balaji Temple, state Zoo. Overnight in Guwahati

Day 06: Guwahati Departure

After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport/ Station. Tour Ends Here With Sweet Memories.

• By Air (Aviation Hubs): The nearest primary airport is Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar / Adampur Airport (IATA Code: ATQ / AIP), situated roughly 75 km away (1.5 hours drive) and regular domestic flights link the airport with Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and major state capitals. Pre-paid airport taxi booths provide reliable direct transfers to central Zira for about ₹1,500–₹2,200.

• By Train (Rail Connectivity): The closest major railway junction is Zira Junction (IRCTC Station Code: ZIR), located 2 km away (10 minutes drive). The station is served by frequent high-speed express trains, including Shatabdi Express, Vande Bharat Express, Golden Temple Mail, Paschim Express. Pre-paid auto-rickshaws, shared taxis, and private app-based cabs operate round the clock outside station exits.

• By Road (Highways & Expressways): Zira is connected via NH-44 (Grand Trunk Road) / State Highways. The driving distance from New Delhi is approximately 350 km (5.5 to 6.5 hours via NH-44), with smooth expressway and highway corridors. PRTC, PUNBUS, and private luxury AC coaches run frequent 24/7 services. State transport corporations and private operators run daily sleeper, semi-sleeper, and AC Volvo buses connecting all nearby commercial hubs.
