Kaziranga National Park in Assam is World Heritage Site and it is famous for world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. This is the oldest National Park in Assam and covers 430 sq. kms along the river Brahmaputra on north and Karbi Anglong hills on the South. The landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, rugged reeds, marshes, tall elephant grass and shallow pools. The National highway passes through the park and tea estates. Tourists can take rides on elephants to move around the park, take a jeep safari or cruise in a boat on the Brahmaputra along the park.
Kaziranga is known as an important Bird Area which is given by the Birdlife International for conservation of avifaunal species. Kaziranga national park has attained distinguished achievement in wildlife conservation. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Though sighting of tigers are difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage, their presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial markings. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer.
Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati - Shillong(130 Kms / 3 ½Hrs drive)
Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport/Station and drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 02: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong (60 Kms / 2Hrs-One way)
After breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Later return back to Shillong. Evening visit Local markets. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 03: Shillong - Kaziranga (325 Kms / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in at hotel. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Early morning go for Elephant ride@ 5AM.Return for Breakfast Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 05: Kaziranga - Guwahati (250 Kms/ 5Hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Guwahati. Check in at Hotel Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 06: Guwahati
After breakfast visit Kamakhya temple, Navagraha temple, Umananda temple, Balaji Temple, state Zoo. Evening River cruise over the river Brahmaputra. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 07: Departure
After Breakfast drive to Guwahati Airport /Station. Tour Ends Here With Sweet Memories.
