Located on the banks of the rushing Tons River at an elevation of 1,150 meters in Uttarkashi district, Mori is an adventure haven and cultural heartland of the Rawain Jaunsar region in Uttarakhand. Situated roughly 30 kilometers northwest of Purola and 170 kilometers from Dehradun, the scenic mountain hamlet is the primary entrance to Govind Pashu Vihar National Park and Sanctuary.
