Chamba is yet another of those destinations which still stand oblivious to most tourists and therefore unspoilt and fresh like a daisy for the lucky few who venture out seeking new places to explore and enjoy Chamba is at an altitude of 1600 mt above sea level. Again really unspoiilt and with lot of pines and deodar and good views. After the submergence of old Tehri town, Chamba is the emerging tourist spot in Tehri Garhwal being a central point. The snow capped peaks of the Himalayas, the awe inspiring views of the verdant gorges and the enchanting valleys all around the river Bhagirathi will undoubtedly leave you spell bound, amidst the salubrious apple growing fields.

Day 1:   Delhi - Chamba

Pick-up from Delhi Railway Station as per your flights time or Airport, drive to Chamba. check in at hotel & relax, evening free for individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02:  Chamba Local Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel. Today explore local view of Chamba, It has an overlooking view of spectacular snow capped mountains of Himalayas, evening go for sight seeing tour of Tehri Dam (One of the largest Dam of India) back at hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03:   Chamba - Delhi Dep.

Breakfast at hotel. Today at leisure check out and drive toward Delhi, on arrival transfer to Airport / Railway station to catch your pre booked Flight / Train.

By Air:

Jolly Grant Airport (Airport Code: DED - Dehradun - 75 km southwest) is the nearest domestic airport with regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Lucknow. Taxis and hill cabs take approximately 2.5 hours to reach Chamba via Rishikesh and Narendra Nagar along NH-34.

By Train:

Chamba is easily accessible from key railheads in Uttarakhand:

• Rishikesh / Yog Nagari Rishikesh (Station Code: YNRK / RKSH - 60 km south): Major railhead connected with express trains from across India. Hill cabs and shared jeeps take approximately 2 hours along the smooth all weather highway.
• Haridwar Junction (Station Code: HW - 85 km): Major national rail hub.
• Dehradun Railway Station (Station Code: DDN - 88 km): Fast train connections via Mussoorie/Dhanaulti route.

By Road:

• From Delhi (~300 km / 6.5 to 7.5 hours): Via Delhi Meerut Expressway, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Narendra Nagar, and Chamba (NH-34).
• From Rishikesh (~60 km / 2 hours): Smooth scenic climb via Narendra Nagar and Chamba bypass (NH-34).
• From Mussoorie (~55 km / 2 hours): Scenic mountain ridge road via Dhanaulti and Kaddukhal.
• From New Tehri (~18 km / 30 minutes): Direct mountain road overlooking Tehri Lake.
• UTC and GMOU buses operate daily from Anand Vihar ISBT (Delhi), Dehradun, and Rishikesh to Chamba.
