Rosera is a town (subdivision) at the bank of River Budhi Gandak. It is a municipality in Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar. it is a trade location due to its position located on the trade route of the river Budhi Gandak. It is an active hub for business for agriculture, carpets, jewellery, medicine etc. As it is the birthplace of Krishna Karak, so this place is considered as a pilgrimage for Kabirpanthis. It does have a vast history. It was initially a portion of North Bihar. It was under the strong hold of the British. The city has undergone several changes and the city progresses a lot. It has become industrial developing city. It is the main part of trade location of Bihar.



Mahaveer Mandir is one of the most popular attractions of the religious sites of Rosera. It is also called Manokamna Mandir as it is believed that any wish is granted after praying to Lord Hanuman there. Thana Mandir temple is situated for the architecture which is devoted to Goddess Durga. It is situated amidst beautiful landscapes. Shiv Temple is situated in the heart of this city and it is the main temple of Lord Shiva. It is devoted to the idol of Lord Shiva.
