Arwal is an emerging city as well as the administrative headquarters of Arwal district located in the Indian state of Bihar. The district headquarters of Arwal is a part of the Magadh division located at the bank of River Son. It is at a distance of 65 kms from the state capital, Patna, towards the north. Arwal is a fast developing city with agriculture being main source of income for most of the people. A majority of the population resides in villages and remote areas with most of them being farmers. The whole region is well irrigated due to the perfect management of water through canals.
