Govindghat, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is beautifully situated at the convergence of the Rivers Alaknanda and Lakshman Ganga. It is located at a distance of just 22 Kms from Joshimath on National Highway 58. It is widely famous for the Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib and the Valley of Flowers. Thousands of Sikh pilgrims visit the pious Hemkund Sahib round the year. The Gurudwara is situated on the right side of the majestic River Alaknanda.

Package Itinerary

Day 1:   Dehradun - Govindghat

Pick-up from Dehradun Railway Station as per your flights time or Airport, drive to Govindghat. check in at hotel & relax, evening free for individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 02 - Govind Ghat - Ghangaria

Morning after breakfast. After arrival at Govind Ghat 14 Km Trek for Ghangaria. Overnight at Ghangaria in Camp/Hotel.

 

Day 03-  Ghangaria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangaria

Morning after breakfast trek start for Hemkund Sahib. 08 km trek form both way. Later trek down for Ghangaria. Overnight at Ghangaria in Camp/Hotel.

Day 4 -  Ghangaria -  Govind Ghat -  Joshimath

Early morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and trek to Govind Ghat. After arrival at Goving ghat Meet your drive and drive for Joshimath. Check in to the hotel at arrival in Joshimath. Overnight stay at Joshimath in hotel.

Day 05:   Joshimath - Dehradun Dep.

After early breakfast, drive back to Dehradun. On arrive Dehradun, transfer to Railway Station or Airport.

  • Minimum Cancilation charges before 10days of Travel Date is 10% of package cost

By Air (Aviation Hubs): The nearest primary airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (IATA Code: DED), situated roughly 190 km away (5 to 6 hours drive) - regular domestic flights link the airport with Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and major state capitals.
