It is located 61 KM towards North from District head quarters Tikamgarh. It is a Tehsil head quarter. Prithvipur is bigger than Niwari tehsil, however, smaller than Jatara tehsil of Tikamgarh district in area.and fastest growing education hub of Tkamgarh district.
