Niwari is a tehsil/town and a nagar panchayat in Tikamgarh district of Indian state, Madhya Pradesh. It is adjacent to the Jhansi and Mahoba districts of Uttar Pradesh. It belongs to Sagar Division. It is located 81 KM towards North from District head quarters Tikamgarh. It is a Tehsil head quarter. In medieval period a small fort was in Niwari, however, was demolished by the Marathas. It possesses a temple of Khedapati Hanumanji.
