Laibin — Travel Guide
Laibin is a prefecture-level city in the central part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China. Situated in the central region of Guangxi Province, Laibin City is bordered on the north by Guilin and Liuzhou in neighborhood of Guigang and Nanning in the south. It is also connected with Hechi in the west and Wuzhou in the east. Before the Qin Dynasty (221-206) unified the whole nation and brought it into the domain of Guilin Shire, Laibin had been inhabited by many ethnic minorities. In 111BC, the Western Han Court (206BC-24AD) established counties in present Laibin area, and this event is considered to be the start of its administrative history.
