Danteshwari temple jagdalpur is one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas in India, dedicated to Goddess Danteshwari, the presiding deity of the Bastar region in Chhattisgarh. Built in the 14th century by the Chalukya kings, the temple is an architectural marvel featuring traditional tribal and South Indian stone carvings, brass pillars, and an inner sanctum housing the black stone idol of Maa Danteshwari.

During the famous 75-day Bastar Dussehra festival, thousands of tribal devotees gather at Danteshwari temple jagdalpur to witness the grand royal chariot procession (Rath Yatra). Visitors can explore the temple complex, nearby Jagdalpur Palace, and Chitrakote Falls.
