Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati - Shillong (130 Kms / 3 ½ Hrs Drive)

Meet and greet at Guwahati Airport/Station and drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 02: Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong (60 Kms / 2 Hrs-One Way)

After breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Later return back to Shillong. Evening visit Local markets. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 03: Shillong - Bhalukpong (350 Kms / 7 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Bhalukpong & overnight.

Day 04: Bhalukpung - Dirang (185 Kms / 6 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Dirang. Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre. Check in Hotel. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 05: Dirang - Tawang (155 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Morning drive to Tawang. Enroute witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 14000 ft and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place). Overnight in Tawang.

Day 06: Tawang

Tawang - The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE” Monestary - one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia. The birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, the Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn - lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparallel purity of nature. Visit the monastery and the War Memorial. Evening free for shopping. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 07: Tawang - Bomdila (180 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Morning drive back to Bomdila. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Bomdila.

Day 08: Bomdila -Kaziranga (270 Kms / 7 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 09: Kaziranga

Early morning go for Elephant ride@ 5AM.Return for Breakfast Jeep safari in the Central Range. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 10: Kaziranga - Guwahati

After breakfast drive to Guwahati. Afternoon visit Kamakhya temple. Evening River cruise over the river Brahmaputra. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 11: Guwahati Airport Departure (250 Kms / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport for onward journey. Tour Ends Here.

By Air:

• Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Airport Code: GAU - Borjhar, 20 km west): Major international hub with non stop daily flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangkok. Pre paid AC taxis and ASTC AC Volvo electric buses run regularly to Paltan Bazar.

By Road:

• From Shillong (~100 km / 2.5 hours): Via scenic 4 lane NH-6 across Umiam Lake.
• From Kaziranga (~195 km / 4 hours): Via 4 lane NH-27.
• From Tezpur (~180 km / 3.5 hours): Via NH-15 and Kolia Bhomora Setu.

1. Maa Kamakhya Temple & Nilachal Hill (Supreme Shakti Peeth & Ambubachi Mela)

The crown jewel of Tantric pilgrimage in India, perched atop Nilachal Hill. Revered as the primary of the 51 Shakti Peethas, the sanctum sanctorum houses a natural rock fissure washed by a subterranean spring. During the annual Ambubachi Mela in June, hundreds of thousands of sadhus and devotees gather here.

2. Umananda Temple & Peacock Island (World's Smallest Inhabited Riverine Island on Brahmaputra)

A 17th century Shiva temple built by Ahom King Gadadhar Singha, nestled atop the rocky Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Country ferry boats take travelers across swirling waters to this serene haven, home to endangered golden langurs.

9. Sualkuchi Silk Weaving Village & Hajo Sacred Tri-Religion Shrine (32 km)
