Nidadavolu is a town in West Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipality and the mandal headquarters of Nidadavolu mandal in Kovvur revenue division. It belongs to Andhra region. It is located 73 KM towards East from District head quarters Eluru. It is a Mandal head quarter.



Nidadavolu is a town in central Andhra Pradesh, located about 18 miles southwest from Rajahmundry city center. Nidadavolu is an old town constructed in the Middle Ages near a large fortress. It is an agricultural center, with plenty of farms producing sugar cane and vegetables. There is a famous temple in the town, Kotasattemma Temple, which is considered to be the main Hindu pilgrimage place in Andhra Pradesh.
