Narasapur

Narasapur

Narsapur is one of the most beautiful towns of west Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. I had a very good touch with that town coz it’s my mother birth place. I love to spend all of my holidays here. It’s a wonderful place with true hearted people, at least as far as I know. Being a coastal town, the beaches and water are added features in Narasapur. People enjoy sitting on the beautiful beaches. The picturesque view of sunrise seen over the Bay of Bengal from the beaches is very popular among the tourists and it brings a vibe of joy and pleasure. People can also enjoy boating, fishing and various other water sports on these beaches. The natural greenery and calm sand of the beaches is very enticing.

Narasapur is famous for Emmarmannerswamy Kovel, Lutheran church. The town has large Christian and Hindu population. The Lace handicraft industry of the town is very popular among tourists. The Godavari Pushkaram which is celebrated once in every 12 years here attracts large number of tourists from all over the country and even abroad. During the memorable event of Godavari Pushkaram, the people take dip in the holy Vasista River. It is a very popular event and people wait for it very eagerly.
