The Grand Imperial, Agra

Originally built in 1905, this heritage building is close to all important historical sites around Agra, including the Taj Mahal. Last operated in the 1960s, the Grand Imperial has been recently renovated and reopened, offering guests a glimpse of yesteryear, albeit with a contemporary slant and all the necessary conveniences dictated by modern travel. Four-poster beds, terracotta-colored walls, and lavish bedding adorn rooms, while verandas and vintage decorations from the original hotel hark back to a grander age. Staff members are close at hand for all requests and dedicated to providing service worthy of the hotel’s considerable charm and tradition. If you’re looking for a special and unique experience, look no further than The Grand Imperial.
