A Himalayan wonderland, Sikkim is nestled in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas and nature has gifted this state with unique beauty. The state is bestowed with a greater variety of vegetation and undisturbed valleys, five climatic zones, total sanitation, peaceful environment, hospitable and humble people and a rich cultural heritage – which is unmatched and would be hard to find anywhere else. Among its mountains is the fabulous Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world. Sikkim is also the least populous state in the Indian union. Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim is situated at a height of over five thousand feet above sea level.

Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Mirik (51 kms / 2 hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Mirik (4,900 ft.). Mirik is famous for its man-made Sumendu Lake, Cardamom plantations and Tea Estates. (One can do Boating on direct payment basis in lake). On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Mirik.

Day 02: Mirik – Darjeeling (49 kms / 2 hrs)

After breakfast & transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.) Via Indo - Nepal Border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 03: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 04: Darjeeling – Pelling (109 Kms / 4 hrs)

This morning after breakfast transfer to Pelling (6,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 05: Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangch endzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 06: Pelling – Gangtok (120 kms / 5 hrs) via Chardham

After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 07: Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 08: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)

Day 09: Gangtok –Kalimpong (78 kms / 3 hrs) Sightseeing

After breakfast transfer to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). On arrival check in to your hotel. Afternoon in visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill & Flower Nurseries back to hotel. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

Day 10: Kalimpong – NJP Rly Station / IXB airport (75 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast Check-out from hotel on time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

By Air:

• Bagdogra International Airport (Airport Code: IXB - 75 km / 2.5 hours drive via NH-10): Major airport operating daily direct flights to Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
• Pakyong Airport (Airport Code: PYG - 55 km / 2 hours drive): Regional airport in Sikkim.

By Road:

• From Siliguri / NJP (~70 km / 2.5 hours): Via NH-10 through the Teesta River gorge, crossing Teesta Bridge and ascending Rishi Road.
• From Darjeeling (~50 km / 2 hours): Via Peshok Road through tea gardens and Lover's Meet viewpoint.
• From Gangtok (~75 km / 2.5 hours): Via NH-10 along the Teesta valley.
• Shared and private taxis (Innova, Bolero, Sumo) and North Bengal State Transport Corporation (NBSTC) buses operate continuously from NJP and Siliguri to Kalimpong.

A sacred Tibetan Buddhist monastery consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama in 1976 atop Durpin Dara Hill. It houses 108 volumes of the sacred Kangyur texts brought out of Tibet, three dimensional mandalas, and intricate Tibetan Buddhist frescoes.

Mangal Dham is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna built in memory of Guruji Mangaldasji, while Thongsa Gompa is the oldest monastery in Kalimpong, built in 1690 during Bhutanese rule.

8. Tharpa Choling Monastery (1922 Gelugpa Yellow Hat Monastic Sanctuary)

A tranquil monastery established in 1922 belonging to the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism, housing ancient scriptures and Chinese bronze statues.
